Clean, comfy and great atmosphere. Love that dogs are welcome. So lovely good also.

Was hoping to leave a better review but I was really disappointed in my first visit. Waited over an hour and a half for food with no apology for the delay when it arrived. Food on the whole (table of 5) was ok but nothing special. My meal was a little cold when I got it but I didn't send it back as I didn't want to wait any longer. Nobody asked if the meal was ok. All reviews I've read are very positive so hopefully it was just a bad day. I personally won't be going back though.

Warm, hospitable pub. Good selection of beers on the pump or by the bottle.

Always a warm welcome despite not being a regular. Friendly and helpful staff in a traditional setting. Excellent range of ales and initiatives such as mulled Gin ☺
