Friendly staff. Good coffee. Happy to make recommendations and serve us despite us rocking up only 20mins before they closed. Warm, comfy place to sit for a chat on a cold day. I'd go back, i I ever found myself in the area again.

A lovely 'rustic' themed place for good coffee, light meals and cakes. They also have a good selection of smoothies. The service is very good and the prices are reasonable. I particularly like their egg and spinach on toasted sourdough with a creamy sauce.

Nice selection of coffee and really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Gave me some good advice on pourover options and even convinced my friend to try coffee black!

It's a lovely little coffee shop and far nicer than any chain. Unfortunately the person serving was new and got pretty much every order wrong. Nothing really veggie/vegan on the menu except breakfast menu, so I had to order eggs on toast with extra mushrooms and avocado. Hold the eggs! When I could have just had toast option from the breakfast menu but was advised they weren't serving that any more. So cost me quite a lot for the privelage. Sourdough was also dry, no butter which was good, but not even any oil or marg and no options asked either. Mushrooms turned out to be 'a mushroom'. Cooked, well seasoned portabello, but not a huge one. Again fine, but for a couple of quid, that kinda hurt. Generally, coffee was lovely but my visit was definitely marred by the poor service of the unfortunate newbie which then made me resentful of paying £23 for couple of drinks and couple of light bread based snacks. Hopefully the front of house training goes better and I will totally return to try again. Not all bad by any means, just my bad luck.
