My favourite place in Liverpool. Always great music, cool atmosphere. Some good food (burgers) available. Many different tap beers. Really cool place

This is a great pub with a fantastic atmosphere. There is a good range of craft and mainstream beers, comfortable couches and friendly service. The menu is adequate, with even vegetarian options. Although it is just up the road from Concert Square, it is not the student crowd that hangs out here.

A good selection of beers, when I last dropped in they had a craft beer festival thing going on, choosing a keg of each beer from a brewer to show case their full range. The menu was good pub stock and was served well, although Natchos arriving in a card box doesn’t really help the environmental credentials these days. Will definitely add it to my list of places to go to in my exploration of the ropewalks.

Good music, atmosphere and food. However the bar man was very moody, sighing and quite rude. Maybe he should try another career that doesn't involve with dealing with the public.
