Had a great experience with Jay at Bar Baa. My friends and I suspected that one of my friends had been spiked and Jay immediately helped after we expressed our concerns. He tested her drink and she had been spiked, he stayed with us the whole time and explained what her side effects would be. This is a situation we have never dealt with before, but because of advice and friendliness from Jay, we felt really looked after and safe. As a group of girls we also really appreciated that Jay walked us back to our apartment, especially as we did not know our way around. We can’t thank Jay enough for being so amazing that night.
A Liverpool institution and rite of passage for locals and students alike. Looks like it’s gone from strength to strength over the years and a proper club in its own right nowadays. Great memories here! Well done guys!
My son was beaten up by the bouncers and his gold chain stolen. All on video. He is a person of colour so fits these reviews perfectly
Jay the manager was extremely helpful at the weekend when I had a panic attack. He helped me get outside, got me water and sat with me until I was calm again.
2022 and bouncers are still making racist comments. Reading the old reviews I wonder why no efforts were made to fix it or is it how they want to run the place?
I've been the Photographer at Baa bar for nearly a year and I take pictures or their students nights and weekends. I can honestly say it's the best club I have worked in and the staff are so kind and fun, you couldn't wish for anymore from a workplace. It's an amazing night out, I see firsthand from my images how much people enjoy the music, the atmosphere and the signature shots of course ; Everyone just has a laugh and the djs are amazing in there, there's never a empty floor when the R&B Dj Jmo is playing downstairs! He has a little dance in his booth and gets the crowd hyped! Not to mention the House Dj Matt Hibbert who will have you dancing all night, and will have you ending the night swaying along to Dancing Queen not wanting to go home haha Hands down the best club, couldn't reccomend enough and deserves all the love
i lost my dead brothers beanie and couldn’t find it, went back to my gf who had bouncers around her and they accused me of spiking her after proving she was my girlfriend they kicked us out, i was hysterically crying after losing the only thing i have left of my brother and trying to get someone to go in and ask abt it there was bouncers and also two workers outside none of them would go in for whatever reason and the bouncers told me to ring up the next day and the workers told me to message the bar on instagram i’ve done both of these things and have been left on read on instagram and they won’t pick up my calls also on google it says open 8 til 4 everyday but that’s just a straight up lie considering i waited til 8 to go there to ask abt it and when we got there there was shutters over the door the bar staff were nice tho in conclusion please reply to me so i can know if u have my dead brothers beanie or if someone stole it thanks
Two floors of good music, a variety of wonderful shots, cheap too. Amazing staff and respectful security. Always a good night at BaaBar, never a disappointment.
Best nightclub in Liverpool, most amazing staff, secuirty, djs and cheap drinks Highly recommended!
Always have the best time at Baabar, always do great offers, good range of music and bar staff are fab. Matt Hibbert is the legend, recommend going on the nights he’s on.
