Absolutely loved this place, great location, lovely staff and a really good room. Parking is limited outside 8am till 8pm you need a permit. I'm not sure of other parking nearby. Lovely views of a pretty little harbour and a easy walk to a beautiful clean beach. Pub was cosy and don't allow young kids, importantly the beer is fresh and cold Defiantly going to try and visit again x
Fantastic place to stay. Old, beautiful pub located in a quiet area at the seahore offering few very clean and comfortable rooms on 1st and 2nd floor. In the morning you hear only sea and seagulls. Exceptional staff - friendly and helpful.
A fantastic place. We were nearby and at our first place as choice for lunch didn't accepted card. So we decided to try out The ship in, as we were very hungry. The place was very clean. The decoration and design are fantastic, in itself worth a visit. The staff was very friendly and smiling. And finally the food was delicious, quickly served and a huge portion. We have eaten cheeseburgers and it was served with sidesalad and chips and we also received a lot of mayo, vinegar etc in sachets. The cider was a kopparberg one. We often visit Folkestone and can not understand how we never visited this amazing place before. Definitly will return soon.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was lovely and spotless. The view from our window was great too. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you. 10/10
Our favourite place for fish & chips. Excellent value & fresh, local fish. Peas & lovely mixed salad included. Friendly staff. We had cod & chips + the special: huss & chips as shown.
Fantastic Place for an overnight stop, room was immaculate, great view of the harbour, Pleasant friendly atmosphere in the Inn with great selection of beers and delicious food for me Fish n Chips, Will definitely return again..
Beautiful pub , lovely people , very clean & Beautiful views of the harbour , highly recommended .will definitely come back .
Lovely welcoming pub on the harbour side. Friendly service team, excellent condition cask beers including Doom Bar and London Pride. Fantastic fish & chips, great value, very tasty and served with a smile
Had a great fish & chips lunch here 2 years ago, wondered if I'd be disappointed or if it would be as good as I'd remembered. It was even better! Lovely, inviting pub - great food and great service! Didn't take a photo but had a stroll to Sunny Sands which was anything but! Yet some still swim and others enjoy a stroll in full winter woolies!
Fantastic place to stay, eat and socialise. Friendly staff and great service
