Proper decent boozer and very welcome on a wet and windy Tuesday night. Traditional throughout with a friendly barmaid and friendly seeming customers. They obviously make an effort as the pub was very well decorated for Halloween. Sheps pub and I went for a very well kept Late Red, the alternative being Master Brew. Very handy for Folkestone West station and just a short walk from Folkestone Invicta FC.
Love coming here. Darts and pool table. Unique place. Smoking allowed on patio
Great drink selection, perfect first date for a relationship going on 6 years +now
Returned here with the local football team Radnor Park Rovers. What a great traditional pub. Pool table darts and a great atmosphere staff were helpful and welcoming there is an onsite carpark and usually spaces along the road. Definitely will come back here when we play again or if just passing by. #ripwhiskers
We love this pub
There while waiting for an early evening train so perhaps not the most accurate of pictures Old school local boozer feel about it. Friendly landlady, reasonably priced, pool and darts if you like that kind of thing and unintrusive music.
Lovely pub for locals and visitors alike. Dog friendly, with entertainment some nights, darts and a pool table. There is also outside seating
Good parking, big garden area with lots of seating , friendly staff
Easily the worst pub I have ever been in. Visited the other day for first and last time! Initially seemed like a nice, friendly local. Only to get heckled and verbally abused by some of the local drinkers as we left. Not very welcoming at all. Whats more, it has awful choice of ales and beers. Typical of a Shepherd Neame pub really. AVOID.
Met here after extremely trying day travelling from Wales. Music was so loud couldn't hear each other speak. Really rowdy group right next to us, bar staff made no attempt to quieten them. Impossible to have a quiet drink & chat. Won't go again. Suggest anywhere else for a relaxing drink.
