Fabulous family get together meal, all food was spot on and I particularly liked the attention to detail you get here that is often lost elsewhere, the ambience is lovely too. We see some afternoon teas come out while we were there which looked great too so planning that for our next meet up.
Visited for first time for a family birthday meal. We had a lovely time. Service was super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, we all had the roast options, the mixed roast in particular was very good. Very broad and varied menu, definitely something for everyone. Some amazing desserts too, eton mess and waffles highly recommended.
Came here for lunch today with my Mum. The staff were lovely, warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, and plenty full and lots of choice on the menu. We have lived nearby all our lives and this is the first time we have visited. Will definitely be returning.

Really friendly local with a great atmosphere and large range of food and drinks. The staff are friendly and welcoming and when we went both the restaurant and bar were packed. Food was good honest pub food served promptly and the portion sizes were good. We would definitely go again.

Popped in for a spot of lunch before a visit to Tilbury fort. The staff were all welcoming. Good food and not dear. Had sausage and chips myself and very good sausages, can't beat a good sausage Nice little kids area and outdoor covered seating to keep out of the sun or rainFood: 5/5
Had a really lovely meal on Sunday, nothing to much trouble as we had a gluten free and elderly parents with us. We all had a lovely time , good atmosphere, food and service. We will definitely be back and also recommend to our friends and family.Food: 5/5
Would certainly recommend. I popped in for a pint a couple months back and found it to be a cracking pub. Lovely interior, good prices and atmosphere. The landlord who was behind the bar was really welcoming and helpful. I'll be going back when next in the area.Food: 5/5
