Absolutley discusted, me and my family was celebrating my 25th birthday and decided to have Chinese, we ordered what we would normally get from somewhere else however when we got chicken in black bean sauce and chicken chow mein it was unbelievably spicy, my family couldn't eat it and we had spent £40 on a dinner we couldn't eat. Absolutley put off and wouldn't be ordering here again. Tired calling up and the phone lines are permanently busy. I will not be recommending here and certainly will not be eating here again. Think twice before ordering
Ordered fish and chips and the fish batter was completely stuck to paper and inedible unless you are the paper too!!! When I complained it was my fault for not ordering it to be wrapped seperated.... it was only lukewarm on delivery. Not recommended at all.
Absolutely appalling service tonight, the chicken was actually raw. There was even blood on the plate. I had called them back to see if I could get it changed and the woman I spoke to was very defensive and then started to say she would tell all of the local takeaways in our area that she would give them our address so we couldn’t order from them too. It’s a shame really as their food used to be lovely and their chips were the best in Tilbury. They’ve gone down hill recently. Won’t be ordering from here again. Try Tilbury fishbar instead
No longer owned by the same people. And it shows, gone are the tasty fish and chips now overcooked soggy fish is all you will experience. Prices have gone through the roof. Best avoid it at all costs. Such a shame as the food used to be the best in Tilbury now it is the world's worst. NEWS FLASH! Perfect if you want a clear out!
Awful experience, I called up 11 times no exaggerationthen they finally answered on the 12th I asked the man what kind of deals they had for two and the man on the phone responded in a rude and abrupt way. He told me to come down myself and made a sarcastic comment about how he couldn't read out the whole menu for me not that I even asked him to then I tried to explain why I couldn't come down which I shouldn't have done because they deliver to my house and they shouldn't question why are can't come down. They offer a delivery service so I didn't understand why he was saying 'oh just come down' obviously I would if I could and plus I don't wanna leave my house on a Friday night anyways I'm halfway through talking and the ignorant fool hangs up on me. Rude and completely inconsiderate. I would advise never ask them to deliver or if you can find a better takeaway that actually value there customers.
Called up to make an order for delivery at 15.20. Gave them my address n order, took payment all went through. Called back at 16:00 wondering how long is going to be, expecting them to say next 5 - 10 minutes. To get told delivery doesn’t start till 16.30. I’m telling them why did no one think to let me know when I first called, the guy who I actually made my order with said he doesn’t know and passsed the phone to this lady screaming in my ear telling me I should know delivery starts at 16.30 because it’s on the menu, literally not listening to the fact that I don’t even have a menu and if I’m calling at 3 o’clock someone should atleast mention it. Literally such rude people.
Nothing. Used this place for years. After getting a extreamly greasey bag of chips with my meal, I phone to get a refund which they agreed for the chips but said I'd have to keep the rest of my meal. I told them this was not good enough and was then given a barrage of abuse by a member of staff in the background telling me he has my address and is going to come smash my house up. All this for a £6 meal. Will never use this place again
Best chippy and Chinese food we have ever tasted and the staff are fabulous. Would never eat anywhere else now
Nice bit of fish will do me nicely Do u know what I've had a pucker bit of fish not soggy or dripping with fat crispy an just right but really nice, as for the chips I think they r a lot better as when I first went there no fluffyness now I can't get enough of them an as for the people that u just can't pls
We haven't been here in a while. Was taken under new ownership and has gone downhill ever since. This used to be our favourite fish & chip shop. Now - we've moved on. Shame really as this place used to be packed
