Always the best family atmosphere, charming pub stuff, and the best selection of remarkable beers, liqueurs, and drinks. Some quite tasty and freshly prepared food is also available if you get hungry, or you can take a hotel room upstairs, when tired. But I think it should be booked faster. So, I am really familiar with this pub and can recommend it, as a good place to spent your free time nicely. This is historical place (on the riverside of The Thames River) as well, and in the past the pub had been called The Sailor.

Very nice and friendly pub to everyone... Recommend Malbec bottle £13 I am fussy with wines but this one wow surprisingly had to get another bottle and no head ache next day. Love the atmosphere. And regular visitors friendly. Feels very clean , authentic in it own way with seating options, live music at the weekends . Feels safe in the area too, good parking available.

Better for drinks. Food was pretty bad. All looked like reheated and dried out food. Had a chicken roast and everything was dry so they smothered it with gravy but even that didn't help!! Snack foods are not so bad.

Absolutely and definitely brilliant pub on the Thames riverside with friendly stuff and atmosphere. Recommend.

The whalf pub has a friendly atmosphere does a wide range of food. Tables out side for those hot summer evenings and has plenty of parking. Food is fantastic and reasonable. The pub itself is over four hundred years old.. Not the same landlords
