Had a fantastic meal here. The food is brilliant. The staff, Annie, Bec and Craig were brilliant. Service was second to none. They really brighten our day up.
Decent to good food depends on who's in the kitchen, never been bad though, fair prices, 2 4 1 cocktails has to be the same cocktail, friendly staff, sometimes has a "rougher" clientèle that has made their way up from down the road where they usually reside. Watch out for the sellers of stolen gear items from surrounding shops/food from Iceland etc in a duffle bag that pops up outside from time to time - if they do come into the pub the staff shift them out pretty quick. Overall, recommended.
Never disappoints cheap, good food and a good drink. 2 4 1 on cocktails. Great atmosphere and the staff are always really friendly. This is one of my go to pubs for watching sport or a nice relaxed drink and a bit of food.
Nice changing selection of real ales. Does reasonably priced pub food, handy for public transport, quiet on afternoon, in there now!
Well this place really knows how to cater to everyone. They have live music, fresh food and a huge variety of drinks. The staff are brilliant and will have a laugh with you making you feel right at home. The pub is always really clean and nothing is ever too much to ask. I'd definitely recommend the Sefton to my friends and family

Been in here for many rugby LEAGUE matches, staff are always accomadating great banter great beer and great rum. A great fun friendly pub. Love walking walking into a pub where everyone knows my name... Cheers
Best pub in St Helens by far, whether it’s for a quiet pint after work or a night out. Brilliant food and staff… highly recommend the chicken club sub, it’s a belter. As for the staff, Becca, Craig and Annie are hands down the main reason I’ll drink in there. Absolute pleasure everytime!
Nice pub, shame you have Basil Fawlty as a supervisor. Whatever you do, don't order coffee as he will throw a strop. He definitely missed the last year of charm school.Big thank you to the manager for rescuing my picture frames.
Good pub for meeting up with others. Sadly the gents toilet let's this place down and has done for a long time. It stinks and you often have to stand in what should have been aimed in the urinal.
