We went for a drink in the afternoon. Ordered beer and cocktails with special offer. The beer was flat and the cocktails were bland.

I'm leaving this 5 star review for the chef because 6 of us had the best Christmas Dinner we ever had last night it was absolutely delicious. We all had 3 courses for £30, worth every penny. Staff who helped me with booking, serving and on the bar were just lovely. Very nice surroundings. Drinks a bit expensive but they are everywhere. Bus stop right outside which is handy. Thanks so much for a wonderful evening

What a fantastic experience have been to a lot of bottomless experience in the past and I can say by far the best one out there. Usually you looking for the staff to come and fill your glasses or get the next drink in.Well not here there are the ones looking to see how far down on the drinks you are to get the next ones lined up for you. I would like take a special mention to both Sue who looked after us and the the manageress what a operation they have and also the staff both should be very proud off them. I am very realistic in the ratings I give an the food we go and service rater 10 out of 10.

Went after being treated by family for our birthdays. Food was Ok. I had the Fish and Chips because they don't do a mixed grill for one. But £45 for mixed grill for 2. Fish was delicious and hot but the mushy peas were cool. Given that it's not a cheap place to eat I would have expected proper chunky chips not frozen ones, which was a bit of a disappointment. Service was slow and it wasn't even busy, yet there were plenty of staff around. Left waiting again after we asked for the bill. We've always wanted to go there since it was done up but won't be going back in a hurry.

Booked a table after being let down by the Griffin, and we were so glad we did. This is a fabulous pub and restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very modern.The food was lovely. Definitely going back.

Not good atall, I got the pasta which was just pasta with a cheese sauce nothing special. My friend got the burger which was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. We did complain however we were still charged for the burnt offering don’t think I’ll be returning

Just got back after a marvellous weekend staying at The Eccleston Arms. Staff were excellent. Nothing was to much bother Evening meals were great We will be back easy to get to Aintree. Best wishes to all the staff. Mr and Mrs Whitmore

Visited and stayed for a family birthday. Excellent throughout, with great and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast menu! Room lovely & felt well cared for.Food: 5/5

There is place for separate bar and restraunt... Plenty of optionsFood: 5/5

A little on the pricey side but was well worth it as the food was delicious and the service was one of best I've ever experienced. Vegetarian options: Best nutroast I've had was succulent and tasty.
