Excellent local pub, nice menu variety, tasty food with generous quantity, plenty of rooms to eat external as well, staff and service always goes beyond, clean and fair prices. Totally recommend.
Hands down best pub I've been too in St Helen's for food and staff are super friendly.. Great Home cooked food and generous portions.. Steak kebab was massive!!! Big thank you to the young chap with the pony tail who made us feel extremely welcome.. Will be back soon.. Cheers OZ
Boss boozer, great staff, great craic and banter. Food is for me the best in the town. Dog friendly so there are always four legged friends pottering about.
Brilliant place! Fourteen real ales!!! Staff really helpful and tasters available. Lovely pub. Didn't eat but food looked good too
Omg this is the first time I've even been Turks head and certainly won't be the last, amazing friendly staff so welcoming and wow amazing food can't wait to return best steak and kidney pudding I've ever had, my partner enjoyed trying the craft beers thanks again and see use soon. Such a fab old pub love a good old fashioned pub, deffo no refurb needed.
What a great experience to visit this pub. Great selection of beers and well kept. I can't recommend more highly. Food is good value as well. Look out for the special nights. Steak night, excellent. Atmosphere inside is excellent and they have also updated the outside area.
I can't agree that the pub needs a refurb, it has that warmth and cosiness of a traditional pub that is increasingly hard to find nowadays. Remarkable range of real ales in fine condition and good pub food. Always busy despite its back street location, with good reason.
Lovely atmosphere here with helpful friendly staff and customers! Accessible entrance but no accessable toilet, hence 4 stars. Inside pub floor is on different levels but can get to one of the bars and half of the pub. Not tried all the food yet but I believe it is all high quality. Looking forward to returning.
Gorgeous food , lovely staff. This was seabass with potatoes vegetables and lemon and dill sauce. Very tasty
Good atmosphere. A varied menu with vegetarian options and good sized portions. Wide range of real ales that are well looked after. Service good. Will revisit.
