Quiet a nice pub had a few rugby fans in but not noisy! Had the crown burger which was lovely! That be a good meal to share with the twins
I was really impressed with this place - far better than most pub chain places! The steaks were the best I’ve seen in any pub chain place. For £9.50, they were massive. The Korean burger was really tasty too. On busy days like the Saturday afternoon we went, the online ordering works extremely well. We placed the order and had it delivered before the person at the back of the queue at the bar had finished their order! The kids loved the play area outside too.
We all had large mix grill 5 massive dinner and lovely. With drinks it was £89 with 2 special discounts the final bill was £51 what a fantastic meal deal. Green king well done. People you can't go wrong here. Plenty of parking and a kid's play area, inside the pub is well laid out. I highly recommend this place.
Came to watch the Womens UEFA final between England and Germany and throughly enjoyed our Sunday. We downloaded the season ticket app which gave us a free drink so we decided to order lunch while we waited. I had the cheeseburger meal which was average, nothing to rave home about and my partner had the stacked chicken burger which was HUGE! The menu is very affordable and they have multiple deals to choose from as well desserts and slushies. The venue is children’s friendly with tv screens in booths as well as a playground for them. With the pub specialising in sports, they have a designated 18+ area and screens throughout. Outside has seats also and a large screen to view matches.. so perfect in summer! The location is convenient and there’s plenty parking spaces even on a busy Sunday. If you don’t mind average pub grub
It was excellent!! Popped in for a quick pub lunch. Lovely and clean, staff very helpful and friendly on today's lunchtime shift. I told the team member that I was really hungry when I ordered the food and it not only came super fast, it was really really lovely too!!!! Well done St Helens Glass Horse, we will travel the distance and definitely come back. Forward this to the chefs and senior management too please, Debbie xx
Great food and great service! It was busy when I visited and I assumed service would be a bit slow but it wasn't and food came out at a good time and it was hot!
Absolutely terrible food was cold and also found a hair in my food!!! And was still expected to pay and to also add we didn’t even eat half of the food on the plate manger was not helpful at all so we are now in McDonald’s eating our food ! This pub is Absolutely disgusting
Go here quite often but not so sure now. Ordered the candymania dessert to be greated with a tub of ice cream with some cream and chocolate sauce on
Went for lunch with friends on Tuesday 31st January. Found a seat straightaway and ordered the food. Wait time was only 10-15 mins. All four of us had different meals which were all fabulous. The fish and chips that I had was one of the best that I have ever had. Place was very clean and the staff were superb. Cant wait to go back again.
We were a party of 9 and all choosing different dishes. Nothing fazed them. Yes it was busy, but it was a Saturday night. So we had to wait but we enjoyed our family time chatting and catching up. Staff very friendly, happy and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely evening. Would definitely go back.
