Love this little retro hideaway! It's perfect for a cosy evening watching a film. It's surprisingly quiet too and, in turn, very reasonably priced. 

It's our new go-to cinema, even if we have to wait a while to see what we want.

What a little gem of a theatre, the entrance hides a beautiful old theatre inside, that's been maintained really well. Staff are really friendly and work closely with the community. Well worth a visit, even to watch a film in the cinema.

It is clean, with comfortable seating and is a well maintained old theatre with character. The acoustics are good and the seating is arranged to allow all a relatively clear view of the stage. It was a thoroughly good night out, an excellent production with a good storyline. Highly recommended!

Seats are hard take a cushion. Cinema is lovely.. something you take friends to to show the. How cinemas used to be,

It pays to ring ahead and  see if films are still on, or off f they e sent out the right times in emails.
We’ve turned  up twice to find that films are not on the time advertised.

A gem of a venue. A Victorian music hall "modernised" in 1928; now professionally run & staffed by a trust. Imaginative programming & generally a great place to be.
