Great food + nice place, what more do you need? Oh yeh fair price! You get that as well.

A nice pub with two halves. One half a more restaurant feel with tables and chairs of various numbers. The other half a more relaxed sports bar area with pool table and dart board. The outside play area is good if you have younger members in your party. The carvery is cheap and very decent though it really does vary according to the timing of your visit. The puddings are excellent. Haven't tried starters. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Good boozer. Beers seem pretty brewery led. Probably don't have much choice in what beers they put on and so they're fairly bog standard. But it's a nice welcoming family pub.
