I’ve just ordered a latte and the signature burger, I got my with beef as you can see by the pictures, but there is 4 choices.nThe burger is nice, cooked well and the fries are lovely.nI’m here at 16:44 and it’s quiet which is nice.nI’m staying at the premier inn next door and I would recommend this pub for any traveler’s who are looking for a good meal.
We had a really nice meal this evening. The 2 for 20 deal is great. We almost didn't try this place again as we came here just after covid, and we were so unimpressed with our starters we left without ordering mains. Total redemption today. Starters were amazing, the lamb cofta perfectly spiced with great sides, and the creamy mushrooms didn't need any extra seasoning. Steak cooked perfectly and a really meaty burger. I was surprised when I was told this place hasn't changed hands... but I'm sure alot of hard work has gone into this place to do a 360° turn like that. Really impressed and we'll be back
Popped in here after passing by. Our first visit and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. A lovely venue by green king. Ideally, you should book, but they managed to fit us in. So, first impressions were great. We were shown to our table and ordered drinks. We ordered food, and it arrived about 15 minutes later. I had an ultimate burger, which was absolutely delicious. It was cooked to perfection and probably one of the nicest burgers I've had in a while. My wife had a rainbow salad with grilled chicken. She enjoyed it that much she is planning on replicating it at home. It was packed with so much variety. It's definitely not a boring salad. Overall, the experience was fab and reasonably priced, with very attentive staff. We will most definitely be returning in the future
Came here tonight with the family as I remember the food being excellent when it was The Twelth Man. However the food has actually gone down hill and very expensive.. I appreciate that this is a business to make money but a £1 pizza for £6 and beef bolegnese that tastes like plant based meat.. overall it’s a pleasant atmosphere but food is lacking taste and a feeling of wanting more
We had a family meal for 12 people on May 1st and it was delicious. There was a varied selection of meals ordered and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was fast,with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere
