One of the Best Indian and Fused with Nepalese Restaurant to go to in Blackheath. A large selections of curry dishes to pick from. Although it is slightly pricey especially the drinks. Friendly Staff and great service Always come here for a late dinner after a few pints from the Crown .
The restaurant itself is a little bit tired but the food itself way overcompensates for that. The staff are always super friendly and made a special dish for our youngest who didn't want anything spicy. The food is delicious, not too expensive with a great choice of drinks. Definitely recommend if you want tasty fresh Nepalese food.
Lovely food, beautiful and spicy. Really great service too! I can't believe that I haven't been to this place before. I even brought back a takeout for my daughter. The food was so lovely, that I have decided to take my daughter next time. Great mixture of meat and vegian options too. Vegetarian options: Very good
One of the best curry you can get in London. If you are local and have not been there yet you have no idea of what you are missing. I'm a customer since 2012 and the food quality has been the same if not better every time you come back, the service is very good and at a reasonable price. If you want a relaxing night, Saffron is the place. 10 out 10 for the place an the team.
Portion sizes have become smaller. But service was good. The drinks menu could be better, it is missing a favourable indian drink. In terms of the portions, if im paying £9 for samosa's. It better be atleast a minimum of 4 small one whereas I only got two. And if two is all you are providing, they better be big. Also the provisions of chutneys should be provided with the starters. In terms of drinks, a lassi mango / salty would be great and boost the authentic dining experience for an indian restaurant. Also I'm not a vegan, but some added vegan dishes would be ideal.
Food is very tasty, though slightly on the pricier side. Service could be better. They charge you £1 per poppadom so beware - it’s not free like in other places.
Our favourite place for a curry. We have just ordered a takeaway for my Birthday and these guys included a free bottle of beer. Food is always delicious and the service superb. We will be back as soon as you guys open again.
Solid choice for an Indian cuisine in the Blackheath area. Food was of really good quality and not very greasy like most. I thought the portion sizes were quite small but I felt quite full after the meal! My only negative was that I thought the chicken bhutwa was lacking seasoning. My wife’s curry was spot on though I finished hers off!. They nailed the garlic naan too.
Delicious. We asked for an item that wasn’t on the menu Pathia, definitely recommended and that, along with the 2 specials, was perfect. Tasty, freshly made, and simply delicious. We will be back!
Been going here for years and its always a pleasure. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The food is always so tasty and great quality.
