We visited this place on spec as we were cycling in the area and thought it may be interesting. The entire place was seemingly deserted apart from the chap running the shop. Ratio of space to wine rather favoured the former but some interesting bottles on display nevertheless (although none that I could find under £10 despite the proclamations on their website). Upon leaving we were accosted by the aforementioned chap in a shockingly aggressive and menacing manner. I gathered that he took exception to my partner moving a large ornamental bottle outside the shop; fair enough (she did apologise what more could we do?). I myself have worked in customer service for many years and have never before experienced this level of rudeness from an individual in a customer facing role. The guy literally stood and glowered at us as we sped off into the distance. Avoid at all costs!

I visited this wine shop in September 2017 and spent £98 on three bottles of different wines all recommend by the shop manager. Sadly I found his attitude to be nonchalant and passive. But we had travelled a long way to visit this little trading estate so we took all recommendations in good faith and purchased wine. Sadly, none of the wine matched it's description and on the three occasions when we opened the special bottles I am afraid we were disappointed. Other outlets in this little trading estate like restaurant and shops were all very good though. In short we will revisit the trading estate again but will not be visiting the wine shop.
