I called in here on the off chance because there were apparent bargains in the window. I bought 8 bottles of wine, and have only tried one - an excellent Pinot Noir from New Zealand, 2013, and two bottles were just £9.00!! So far, I am impressed!!

To its advantage, this local off-licence has long opening hours, seven days a week. There are occasional special offers on certain brands of cider, beer or wine, cider being the most reliable. Its wine choice is not particularly broad, and there is limited refrigeration available, because the building is not large. Discounts on "cooking wine" are substantial. Cigarettes and confectionery are also sold.
