Absolutely fantastic roast dinner, the best in a long time! We had the trio of meats roast dinner and ordered a side of cauli cheese for good measure. Presented beautifully and came with a good amount of gravy. Service was fast, attentive and nothing was to much trouble. It's a shame we live 250miles away or we would be here every Sunday! Great location too.
Enjoyed a lovely evening meal at the Saracens Head on a busy Saturday night. Our server Ella was brilliant always attentive and very friendly a credit to the team. Food was lovely and would recommend the Pie as well as the Lamb shank. The mini pudding and hot drink deal at the end was a lovely finish to a great meal.
Came here for a Sunday family meal and really enjoyed it.nI ordered the pepperoni pizza which was good. Nice dough, plenty of toppings and a lovely taste.nThe others ordered roast beef and lamb. Good portion size with plenty of meat. Some of the beef was a bit overcooked and tough which was a shame. And everyone's Yorkshire puddings were cold when the plates arrived. This was mentioned to the person serving us and the manager came over to apologise which was a nice touch.nThe potatoes/veg that came with the roasts was all very nice.nnWe got a few desserts to share creme brulee and sticky toffee pudding. Both very nice although I'd say they were small portions.nnThe service throughout the meal was very good.nWould definitely come back again next time we have a family meal.
The best Sunday roast in Beaconsfield. Very big portion and the meat was cooked to the perfection. Service was really attentive, maybe too much, I quest they should be communicating a little bit more between each other. We had 4 people checking on us if everything was ok, but they did mised to bring our side dish. The pub is decorated very beautiful, I would say it's perfect for a special occasion.
We really enjoy a good roast and purposefully try many places to create a hit-list of our top places that we can frequent and bring friends and family. The Royal Saracens is definitely making our list. Great food and service that went beyond, with a special mention to Cam for the exceptional roast lamb dishes and much appreciated gift of extra Yorkshire puddings.nWe shall definitely be back!
