Lovely place, dog friendly and the cheese soufflé was delicious. Great service and a good location with ample parking. I didn’t like the onion soup as it was just too herby for me- perhaps I may be used to some less authentic French onion soups? Nonetheless, it was a nice place for dinner and my friend said Le Burger was one of the best he’d had recently. We would return.
Amazing food - the terrine and duck were exceptional, and the service was lovely.nJust a heads-up: the polished wooden floor is very slippery in heels. I had the most embarrassing moment of my life slipping in front of a full restaurant nStill, absolutely fantastic place and I will happily come back… wearing trainers next time
Considering this is a chain, it surpassed our expectations. On par with many places nearby.nnInteresting starters. Nice classic mains with a little bit of refinement, well seasoned and plated. Good value. Solid choice for a family lunch spot. Desert was a little off piste: a very sweet pistachio soufflé. Traditional items beat new twists here.nnWould love to the specials menu to be shouted a little more - we missed that entirely.
Great service with courteous staff. But you need a reservation to get a space here.. they're that good
This is my favourite spot for breakfast in Beaconsfield but things seem to have changed for budget cuts reason recently. It has been a few months since my last visit but my most recent visit saw a smaller portion for breakfast with streaky bacon over back bacon and only one slice per person. There was no fresh berrys in my drink which I have always loved and we were asked if we wanted butter on our toast after our toast was put on the table... I would say most people want butter and while the toast is hot so that it melts.nnAt no point were we asked if our meal was Okay which I prefer as I do like to be left alone to dine but trying to settle the bill was somewhat of a challenge.nnIt took around 35 mins from ordering to the food being put on the table which is reasonable for freshly cooked food but perhaps a little to long for breakfast. Food was also placed on the table without asking who had ordered it, so we ended up having to swap plates. This was the same with drinks too.nnThe staff were as always plesent and friendly, the food was of exceptional quility and cooked to perfection, just short on previous visits hence a 4/5.nnI will still return but with lower expectations sadly.
