Been coming here for 25 years.. you know on and off. Food is very well cooked and the owners are great. My only negative is the decor of the new refurbishment. They have lost the intimacy the old place used to hold. I suggest they remove some lights (way too many) and add some more soft furnishing to soften the noise and create a better place to talk amongst yourself.

Another brilliant place for Afternoon Tea everything from the tea selection which they had 10 to choose from all they way to mains and desserts. Will definitely try again and even going out for dinner too.

We took some French friends from Normandy for their first-ever curry. They enjoyed the experience. We went there on a weekday evening and the place was quiet. Service was good and quick and the food was tasty too. Will it be the same on busy days? Well, we went there for lunch on Mothers' Day 2017. It was very busy but we didn't notice any signigicant deterioration in service. This may be because it was a buffet. Food was good and dessert was average. Ask for a seat towards the back of the premises, which is an extension with a glass roof. On a nice clear summer's evening, you can relax and enjoy the slowly fading daylight, sipping a glass of Champagne and chatting with your friends. However, on sunny afternoons it can be very hot in that area--best to sit elsewhere unless you want to be tanned while eating. There is some outdoor seating at the rear, which probably is only used in the summer. In the afternoon, they won't take orders after 1.30pm as the chef only works from 12pm to 2pm. Bear that in mind if going there for lunch. They don't appear to be busy during lunchtime. On Sundays it's buffet lunch. The restaurant is on a busy road and parking is a bit difficult.

Food was good. Service was good. It is overpriced for what you get. Overall it would be a nice place to go if prices were at least 20% cheaper.

Great food, best Korma I've ever had. Parking is a bit of a pain. Nice back view. Looks humble from the front. The interior is peaceful and tranquil. There is a lack of music, on the other hand.
