Our first family holiday with a 3 month old baby was an absolute treat, much thanks to the Royal Lion! Perfect location in the heart of Lyme Regis. The swimming pool was an added bonus. Spectacular breakfasts. All staff were lovely, hardworking and helpful; in particular Sharon was our guardian angel! We will be back!

Had two lovely days at The Royal Lion. My first break since the death of my husband in April. The staff were always so cheerful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless. The food was great. Thank you Sharon and all your staff.
From the moment we walked through the door, we were made to feel genuinely welcome — and that was all thanks to the wonderful Tayah. Her warmth, professionalism, and attentive nature set the tone for what turned out to be a truly fantastic evening. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and her friendly demeanor was simply infectious.nnThe food was nothing short of incredible — beautifully presented, packed with flavor, and clearly prepared with real care and skill. A special mention must go to the young lady who serving front of house and behind the bar who treated us to some of the best Irish coffees we’ve ever had — the perfect end to an already amazing meal.nnWe also want to give a big shout-out to Jake, who worked tirelessly on what was clearly a very busy evening. Despite the pressure, he remained calm, efficient, and always had a smile on his facennThis team is an absolute credit to the Royal Lion, and our experience wouldn’t have been the same without them. We’ll definitely be returning — and recommending it to everyone we know.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Lion. Our room was comfortable and clean to a high standard. The breakfast we had was cooked beautifully. The service we had from reception and all the staff was excellent. It was our first visit to Lyme Regis. A beautiful and historic seaside town with plenty to see. The museum nearby is well worth a visit. Local restaurants are excellent. The Jurassic coastline is beautiful too. The Marine theatre is excellent and the mini golf is worth a go too! Thank you Royal Lion
