Nice pub with a lot of character to it. Am sad to hear that the pub will be closing for renovation later this September as I've gone to the Pilot pretty much every time I've been on holiday to Lyme Regis. The Golden Ale from the local brewery I had was nice, and the meal was also decent. The love folk music however made it very difficult tohave any conversation at the pub. Hopefully the renovations will go well and the pub will retain some of its character.

Lyme Regis is a typical seaside village with beautiful sea and coastal views.

Great beers and good selection of food. Service not brilliant but okay. Due for a revamp in September so hope it doesn't lose to much of its old world look.
