Great little pub. Pleasant little outside area. Parking. Friendly staff and best of all not ripped off with price of a soft drink. Also lovely cheese and onion roll for £1.50. Quiet but it was that baking hot Saturday.
I can not review it properly yet, because it is going through a change of management. I will let you know what I think in a couple of months.
Really relaxed atmosphere with genuinely kind staff - parking and garden, clean toilets and great selection of booze! I'll be back, thanks Tony
Absolutely unfriendly. The second I walk in, it’s quiet not complaining about that, there’s barely anyone, and I decided to sit down and wait for my friends for a drink. I was asked “yes please” from the barkeep, and I replied with “sorry?”, he repeated himself and I replied back with “ohh no thank you, I’m good”. He kept asking me to repeat again and again, I thought he was bad at hearing til I asked what he was asking me for. He asked if I wanted to get a drink, I replied yet again that I didn’t and was fine. He replied along the lines of, “this isn’t a waiting room, you either get a drink or get out!”, I thought the point of a pub was to come inside from the cold, take a seat, have a drink if you wanted to and relax with friends or have a good time. But from the way I’ve been treated, I’d recommend everyone to stay away from this grain of salt in the wound. Unless you’d want to leave it picking up sawdust in your mouth as if a pidgeon roosted in it, and the pidgeon will also get a mouthful. Don’t go here.
Lovely, friendly pub. Let us in to watch the England game when everywhere else was booked. Thank you
Proper old fashioned boozer. Sky sports news on silent Wetherspoons style. Slightly pricey for an old style pub but I guess we are in Surrey!
Just been decorated
One of the very last proper pubs. Not my local but when im in Guildford i always go to the Prince Albert great people.
Great small proper pub with a pool table and great jukebox.
Brilliant pub, fantastic landlord. What it's all about!
