Really nice setting next to the Thames. There is outside seating also. Nice interior with plenty of places to sit. I had the signature burger for £17 and it was very tasty. There are enough ales, and I had Proper Job. Staff were helpful. Very chilled environment.
A good place for drinks and some food. We have come here on many occasions, either drinks while walking by or lunch / dinner too. The lunch options are lovely and give some more healthy choices, especially for vegetarians. That being said, don’t miss out on the chunky halloumi wedges. The order process can be frustrating as bar staff don’t always ask who is next. Many a time have we queued for 15 minutes and felt ignored. Once you get food and drinks however, it’s good quality and you will be happy. The outdoor seating area is perfect in summer! It can get quite noisy inside so we also escape outside sometimes. There’s a lovely open fire inside if you grab that sofas as soon as you walk in.
The roast pork was very nice, they were not stingy with the portion size but definitely needed a lot more gravy, we had asked multiple times for some more but service was pretty slow. Pork could do with crackling as well. Other than that the roast was good , just a typical average pub.
Great location and friendly staff. Quite quiet on a Tuesday evening thus the speed of service was frustrating slow although the staff were extremely friendly. The menu was quite limited but we were all happy with our food but found it a little pricy for what it was, albeit we aren’t used to London prices and have nothing to compare it to.
what a roast it was! Had lunch in charming weather at riverside with my friends. Sakip was our hostess.he was great! He was so friendly and entertaining. Love this guy! Nice place. Planning for Christmas over there with office staffs..
An outstanding restaurant for brunch - my companions enjoyed scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, while had a full English. Everything was freshly cooked and tasty; thoroughly recommended.
Had dinner on a Saturday evening and I must say we enjoyed it very very much. The atmosphere was great, child friendly too, lots of families the waiters have been exceptionally attentive and the food good. We will definitely return. There is always something that each one of us will personally not agree/like and I see it as a constructive feedback if the chef accepts it: for me it was the cream of the dessert , very disappointed considering the level of satisfaction of the whole dinner. The blackberry and pear crumble was delicious even though i will call it pear crumble only - 2 raspberry and 2 blueberry doesn not compensate for the name . Thank you :-
Best roast I’ve had yesterday at riverside. Food was awesome and the guy called sakiv he was our waiter . Had a great time with my mum. She has allergies, and sakiv looked after her very well . He kept checking if my mum was okay or not. He is the best. Will visit again.
Had a very nice time with my family at Riverside. Ambiance was perfect - warm and homey - and the views were great! Food was delicious and the staff were also very welcoming. Will definitely be back soon!
Nice cosy pub with nice booths and sofas to lounge in. The foods good too. Set next to the Thames it's a great location and if you're outside and it's cold they've got the heaters to keep you there for longer
