We stopped in for dessert after lunch. The chocolate lava cake was really good but those egg tarts are fantastic. I try them almost any time I see them and these may be the best I've had. Service was polite but not really friendly. We didn't really feel welcome so we ate dessert and got out quickly. They appeared to have just gotten past their lunch rush so they may have just felt rushed themselves. The dining area itself is cozy and comfortable. I'd like to try the other foods and sit a little longer next time.
Wonderful breakfast/lunch spot. The food is delicious the spicy gravy is incredible! Must try it! The employees are friendly and upbeat. The menu has a good variety I just wish they had eggs Benedict because that's my favorite egg dish lol I had veggie omelet with home fries and rye bread. All of which was delicious. I also had a mimosa, also very tasty. I love the decor, it's very cozy and cute. Highly recommend coming here! They also have outdoor seating which is nice. Parking: Not much for parking especially if it's busy.
I’m the type that loves to have breakfast and restaurant hopping. I love tasting different types of food. I can order 100+ dollars for breakfast alone for just myself. Because I love to taste every different part of what the menu has to offer. Due to the fact I work in the area, I’ve only been able to order take-out. However, the experience doesn't get any better, because the server at the takeout section is rude with no patience. It makes me feel uncomfortable to ask questions. They are not friendly. So far I have not stepped in there and felt a warm welcome. They are more likely in a rush or give you an aggregated mood. As I'm looking over my order to ensure was prepared to my liking. This server at the take-out rudely and impatiently asked me I quote “Are you going to take the order or not?” Which ruins the whole experience and taste. The most compliment I can provide so far I like the cheese rolls.
such great food with so many options to choose from..always my go to for breakfest. Portuguese omelette is amazing.Food: 5/5
Delicious food, great decorations and perfect service!Food: 5/5
had a terrible experience here recently, waited incredibly long for service and spent over an hour there without ever receiving my food. during this time we rarely ever saw our waitress who seemed to have no idea what happened to my meal. when confronting management about the issues we were given a disappointing amount of attitude and asked “it’s off the bill what more do you want?”. in my opinion this is not a way to run a business and an awful way to treat loyal customers.
It's a good place to have great family moments. The food is good. We went for breakfast I got an delicious omelet. I enjoyed the hot chocolate. They have a good costumer service and prices were acceptable. We singed happy birthday to my son and when we finished everybody in the room applauded. I recommend this place. I wish they had parking lot.
Quick stop to get some coffee. Cute little place and I liked the decor and vibe of this place.Food: 5/5
Great all around breakfast, lunch, or dessert and coffee! I’m a coffee addict and their lattes and coffees are with Jim’s Coffee Beans which I love! It’s basically a Portuguese Style Cafe! Comfortable atmosphere and great service! Sunday mornings be there before 9 or expect a line! You have to wait when it’s one of the best!! It’s worth the wait !
First time here and overall our experience was mediocre at best. We went during their busy breakfast time on Sunday. The wait for the table wasn’t bad at all, we walked around and checked out the old buildings and shops before they were ready to seat us. The service was very slow. The server took more than 10 minutes to even acknowledge our table and offer drinks. Great list of options on the menu. Our daughter got the sweet bread French toast with strawberries, she loved it. My husband and I split the linguisa breakfast sandwich, we were not impressed. There was 1 messily piece of linguisa cut in 4 smaller pieces. We’ve definitely had better breakfast sandwiches while in townskip this menu option We also split the Azorean bitoque, the spicy gravy was a nice surprise. The steak was just okay, nothing special except the sauce they cover it with. The couple with us also got an omelette they weren’t impressed by, nor remembered the name of it. If you’re coming for mimosas, arrive after 11am on Sunday. Coffee drinks were tasty, with a good list of options to choose from. Overall, great ambiance and location. Food was just okay. Service was subpar. Would come back to try lunch or dinner.
