My husband I went here for my birthday and it was amazing. The service was great and the food was simply the best considering im a vegetarian. They cater to your every need and answer every question. One steep item is the champagne at £24 a glass but I guess it was a very good one.

We went there for our wedding anniversary... a total disaster. I booked a pre theatre dinner as there was no available places for normal dinner. I thought it was ok but it wasn't! We arrived and were harassed about a booking voucher, thankfully a waiter saved us. Sat down, we were introduceed to the staff and the sommelier who toke my negroni order: it was my aperitive ...it arrived 45min later when i was having my main course. Not only I had to ask where was my aperitive, and listen to the waiter that the bar was busy (when he obviously had forgot about it) but it was wrong, someone forgot the red martini, but dont try to complain, it is rivoli's bar fault! The food: we had to choose between 2 starter, 2 main and 2 desserts. I had mackerel starter, well presented but tasteless! My pregnant wife had a monkfish, she asked it well done but it arrived rare, sent it back and the new one was still not perfectly done so I had to finish it: quite tasty if u can eat it! Main course I had lamb, good, my wife had grouse... won't u espect finding a lead bullet in it? Well u are served! I know, this kind of game can come with lead occasionally, but the staff should be prepared to deal with it. Dessert were great and coffee too but seriously not a Michelin star experience!

Uber grand dinner affair at the Live at the Ritz event with Escoffier styled cuisine that was very delicious. Service was flawless and the live performance was very entertaining. Great place for couples to dress up and have a lovely night out.

Food was exquisite, especially the desserts, but the duck skin on the main was not crispy. The service was a slight let down as some dirty dishes were not cleared for some time. Very accommodating for children and allergies.
