I had a delicious breakfast here this morning. I got the French toast with berries and bananas and maple syrup, my husband had the same but with pancakes. They weren't lying when they said berries that's for sure. It really was amazing with the tons of berries they put in everything. It was the perfect amount of everything that had me finishing it all.
Loved having breakfast here. I'd have to say, it was the best one I had for my whole trip throughout Scotland. The sausages were delicious, bacon was delicious, everything else was very good. Tea was great, service was great, the waitress was friendly, even though she was super busy. It's a small place, so packs quickly. Definitely recommend. Sidenote, my friend got French toast and bacon. It was literally French toast covered with bacon. So, if you don't want a ton of bacon, maybe just get a side I imagine it wouldn't be so many pieces as a side, but who knows.
Had a late breakfast there and it was absolutely perfect. The service was super nice and even made me some eggs although it was already lunch time. The Belgium waffles are fantastic. I would love to come back tomorrow but unfortunately this was my last day in inverness. I can highly recommend this place for breakfast and I'm sure they also serve delicious food for lunch and dinner. It is a bit pricey tho compared to German standards.
Food lovely and tasty with good size portions. I had the haggis panini and my wife had goats cheese and caramelized onion one. Tea in pot was nice too. Thought it was good that the waitress advised those wanting food that it would be best to sit inside as there was a pesky seagull outside. Only one toilet which was reasonably clean although I'm not a Frank Zappa fan. Waiting staff friendly. Music good and loved the Laurel and Hardy videos playing on a loop.
On 15th July, my wife and I came to Inverness from Edinburgh. We visited this cafe for our dinner. All staffs were very kind and nice. Our ordered meals were also very good. We enjoyed very much. Thank you!
Visiting Inverness for one night, decided to eat out came by the rendezvous cafe there was a staff member outside very friendly he explained what was on the menu, we decided to give it a try even though they’ve only opened up last Wednesday, we ordered some lager 330ml bottle and both decided on the gourmet burgers, a little steep on price for just a burger and side salad if you wanted chips it would’ve been an additional cost, the food was filling and tasty, not used to paying theses prices in our town but we are in a city after all. We may have been the first person’s to purchase the burgers since reopening we were informed nice and clean premises with background music, just a little on the costly side for our liking. Dai
Check this fine eatery out and it will not disappoint. The atmosphere is great and the food was outstanding shoutout to the chef! Our server Stepen was top notch as well as attentive to us. Even though the menu changes he answered my questions quickly. Flavor is king here! The owner Benny checked on us too to make sure our time and food was excellent. 5 star team!
Delicious breakfast and plenty of vegan options available. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and were able to point out what we could/ couldn't have! We had to wait a bit to get a table but this is just because it is so popular there and the food is so good so no complaints from us!
Arrived around noon and was looking for some eggs and toast. Looked up and decided on Rendezvous. Quick service produced a hot tea and 7-item Scottish breakfast with egg, 2 sausage links, toast, tomato, mushrooms and beans. Food was tasty and for 10£ definitely a good choice. I sat outside on a, at the time sunny day and people watched!!
Great food, good service, fair prices, very good music and the Beatles played here. They should have eaten and had a cuppa. We were tourists in Inverness and became regulars here. I would specifically recommend..... the entire menu. And the coffee and tea, recommend the cappuccino as well.
