Buonissimo Italian Street Food

About

Authentic Italian food. Without going to Italy

Story

Hi, our names are Federica and Andrea, we moved from Milan to Inverness in 2015 after fall in love with the Highlands and their inhabitans.
We have opened our "Buonissimo" to let the Highland people taste the last Italian delicatessen.
"Buonissimo" means "delicious" and we promise you that everything you find in our shop is delicious and healthy.
Italian food tradition is not as simple as it could seem. It's different from region to region and also a couple of miles could make a big difference in the receipt.
We spent several years working in food business in Italy, learning regional receipes and tradition, meeting top quality suppliers.
At "Buonissimo" there is all of this: love for the Italian food, deep knowledge of the tradition and attention to the latest 100% Italian food creations.
Buonissimo, a corner of authentic Italy in Inverness city center!

Nice food for a good price . Nice when you can sit outside to eat
£6 for a microwave not homemade Pasta with minimal Sauce than flavour. Tasted more of cardboard box than arriabata!! £3 for a milkshake Which was a powder sachet thrown into room temp milk, even the cold weather couldn’t chill it down, absolutely disgusting and far from hearty home made Italian. It’s bought in cheap production shire and sold at 300% cost price.
Fantastic place. Best coffee in Inverness. Lots of Sicilian street food. A real gem. Owners are friendly and know what they are doing
Brilliant coffee, nice little sitting area to people watch. Friendly owner. Also had a couple of pastries which were deelicious!
Great coffe and pizza. Good place to recharge your "batteries" when visiting Inverness on a rainy day.
Nice pizza by the slice place, decent value, £4.50 gets you two slices of fairly tasty pizza, which you can have warmed up for you.
Fantastic food! Great for lunch and you can taste Italian cuisine.
Poor coffee. No toilet.
Really tasty authentic food
