Brilliant! Must see collection of articles from the Regiments long history. Amazing artefacts and stories of Zulu wars and Rorkes Drift. Give yourself plenty of time to get around. We were given loads of facts and information from curator (ex R Welsh) From colonial to modern days, thoroughly enjoyed. Well worth £5 admission which helps to keep the museum open. Heartily recommend.

Amazing place for school trip. So lo Ely that the children are able to play with artefacts from the actual time period. I learnt just as much as the children! Really helpful staff.

If you want to learn about the Zulu war made famous by the movie this is the place to do it. There is a replica of the battle field to help you understand what happened there. The museum is not just about the Zulu battle but covers other eras as well. Full of all sorts of memorabilia including the most Victoria Crosses ever awarded in one day. Great examples of the everyday items that soldiers had.

My dad's old regiment. Plenty to see unfortunately no one on site to answer any questions. Stoic worth a visit.

£5 to get in ...a little steep price wise ....very nearly worth £4 ...overall worth a visit
