Great stop off on a long drive, or a short one. Stopped here for some lunch and was surprised to find such a hidden gem. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were welcoming too. The other side of this place is the amazing toys for sale which are locally made, they kept me entertained for longer than I am happy to admit. In my opinion It is well worth a visit for all ages.

We were looking for something to do for an afternoon and came across this little place. We loved the rabbits and that we could buy bags of feed for them. Spent a good hour outside surrounded by the rabbits before heading in for a delicious jacket potato. Would definitely call in again if we were passing

Excellent stop for anyone travelling between North and South Wales on the A470. Parking for 15 or so vehicles is available. Machinations is named after the wooden working models that are made locally and sold on the premises. These models represent all sorts of things including a person playing a guitar, base or piano, an old locomotive, a boat, fish, and dragon amongst many others. These are available for sale, for self assembly or ready assembled. The other major attraction, especially during the Summer are the rabbits which run free in the attached enclosure. They are quite tame and live all year in small 'houses' in the enclosure. The wide variety of food served is excellent and very well priced. The food offered includes filled jacket potatoes, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, cooked breakfast type meals and a variety of specialities. A full varriety of drinks are on offer. The staff have always proved to be helpful and friendly, contributing to the reason that it it is a really good place to visit.

Fantastic interesting place to have a meal. Look around, watch the rabbits enjoy the sun and let the kids play happily in the playbarn
