CARAD, (Community Arts Rhayader And District,) is an independent charity working in the field of arts and heritage. It gives people in Mid-Wales the chance to involve themselves in artistic expression and interpretation, to share experiences and to tell their personal stories in different ways.
People who live in this beautiful area have a strong sense of place and community: oral and folk history are part of everyday conversations, and the environment an integral part of everyday work.

Normal hours: Monday to Friday 10.00 - 4.00, Saturdays 10.00 - 1.00.
