We ordered 2 mixed grills with different steaks but servers didn't know which was which. Some of the food was cold and we had to clean and tidy our own table.  Fresh food was brought out, but took ages.  Was expensive for the service and food and we also had to clean somewhere before we could sit.

Food is always good here and the service in my opinion is second to none. Our vist today was made even better by the glass lady with headband never stopped smiling, it might seem small but it add such a nice spice to an already great experience. Atmosphere only marked down due to some loud customers but it is spoons so is to be expected xD

After reading all the bad reviews I phoned first to make sure that they were serving breakfast, which they were.nStrange atmosphere, very flat, no music playing at all, which seemed odd.nStaff were not rude, but were not very cheerful.nBreakfast was not very hot, but when I asked for it to be put in the microwave to heat it up there was no problem.nThe pub was quite nice with lots of interesting historical pictures and information.

We went here for a family evening meal as usually you can't go wrong with a spoons meal but on this occasion it wasn't that busy but 50mins for food to arrive my mixed grill was very poor really small cuts of meat and the meat was cooked beyond the point of no return other meals were ok but still poor will I be back only for drinks rather go to chippy for food

Typical Spoons pub with free WiFi and friendly staff.  I went for the unlimited coffee for 1.50 as the cask beer selection was a bit dull.  Busy as it was a nice sunny day.
