The portion seen, with passport and credit card sized thing in the shot for scale, cost £7.95. Make your own decisions. the food itself is very good, but the size is unforgiveable, I'd have felt it very expensive at £4 £7.95 though. Seven pounds and ninety five pence. £7.95. Can i sue for theft? Or mugging. Still, took my mind off other worries. Every cloud. £7.95 though....
What a great little place, we were hungry on our visit to Skegness so decided fish and chips was the seaside choice. This little chippy was just off the main Street so you have to look for it, it's well worth finding though as the food is very good. We had freshly cooked fish and chips without it all swimming in oil, all in all it was a great experience at "The blue fin" all I would say is that I expected table service but my order was shouted through, hence the 4 stars not 5. Do yourself a favour and pop in if your in skeggy. Give us a thumbs up if you like the review
So I got the cod and chips. They fry the food separately hence I went here. The Cod and chip was really nice. Seating inside and outside. Staff are accommodating too. There's parking right outside.
Had mini fish & chips to take away, it was £5.95. Very efficient service on bank holiday Monday but I was there quite early doors. Batter was lovely & light, chips are excellent but not really what I would class as standard chippy chips. It was my first time in Skegness so not sure how it compares to other chippies but I really enjoyed mine and would go there again.
Not impressed purchased a small tray of fish and chips. The fish had been a frozen deep fried fillet and the chips were hard. Threw most of it away it was so awful The cost of this meal with a can of tango came to £9.45. Would certainly not recommend.
Usually go to Tony's decided to give this place a go based on the great reviews. Average fish and chips, the curry sauce and mushy peas where both very watery and lacked any flavour . Fish batter very crispy and fish reasonably tasty .Chips slightly under done in the middle for my taste. Okay meal but we wont rush back.
Called today and wasn’t disappointed freshly cooked ….excellent fish & chips with great friendly service highly recommend.

The food is fresh but very over priced! Stood around for a while before being served. You have to pay for tomatoe ketchup on top of the extortionate price of fish and chips! Wouldn't go again!Food: 3/5
We were there for a day trip. There were so many fish and chips places to eat. It can be very confusing for visitors. At last we chose Blue Fin Fish Bar because of the advert by the road. It was reasonably priced. You need to ask for the promo price advertised Otherwise you get their normal price in shop. The portions were smaller but that suited us as are small eaters. It was a great idea to offer smaller portions for people like us.
