Nice, quiet, clean Wetherspoons in Petersfield town centre. Paid for car parking available on site. Outside garden seating available. Good mix of age groups enjoying a meal, soft drink or pint. We shared a lunchtime pizza and a latte each for £12. A couple of dishes unavailable on the menu. Pub was nice & warm with a pleasant ambience & very friendly staff. Toilets are on the first floor and there are a few steps to contend with. Would recommend this Spoons & would happily come back again.
Perfect place to grab a pint. The food isn’t bad either and for what you pay it’s well worth it. The only thing I miss is the steak which has been erased from the menu don’t know why but in 2025 you can’t have a steak in Wetherspoon any more nnIf something you should definitely get back is the steaks! Do that and you’ll have 5 stars from me
Great Wetherspoons. Plenty of tables available inside and out we visited on a weekday evening in the school holidays food was brought out quickly and very nice. Man behind the bar was friendly esp as we had a few requests for food changes no cheese etc bathrooms were clean. And car park available right outside for a fee
Craft ales in historical place. Pepsi instead of Cola. We spent £20 for two ales, pizza and 2 pepsis.
It’s such a shame that the service lets this pub down so much. Staff at the bar shout across the bar, seems they can’t be bothered to engage with their customers. When I arrived a lot of the tables were covered in empty glasses or plates, and others not wiped clean. When asked if we could have a certain table that was not fully clean, we were met with staff rolling their eyes. The man who I assume was the manager seemed uninterested and preferred to put glasses away rather than serving customers at the bar. The toilets were dirty and we also felt that the heating was up too high, however after our previous experiences at the bar, we did not dare say anything. This pub used to be lovely, I’m not sure if the staff are new or just don’t seem to care anymore.
