I have always liked the Red Lion..it's in a good location, has a friendly atmosphere. They do a good quiz on a Thursday. The food is good.
Really good rooms with friendly staff and the bar is tremendous. What a good food and drinks.

We stayed here for the historical connection to John Wesley. The staff are friendly and the food is pretty good. The building is old, so the rooms are small, there are no elevators, there is no AC, and the water in the shower goes from cold to fire and back repeatedly. But it was for one night and because a friend in the group was in the room John Wesley stayed in, we got to see it as well.
Would not stay again. Had stains on the towels and the bed. The room was so cold when we arrived we nearly left the hotel. One small heater in the room was broken. The list went on but you get the gist.
