Very smart building and bar area, however one bar person / waiter wasn't enough. And although my food was nice a few in our party of 15 was less than impressed with the food.

Apparently the oldest purpose built hotel I. I the only country. I was there on a training course and found that the  staff were friendly and helpful. I did not see any of the rooms.

Had a meal there and so far the most well presented dish I have had . Well cooked... very good for the price. And very good people working there. I recommend.

Went for a Sunday carvery. Wasn't particularly busy but service was very slow. Food was standard carvery nothing special and not a great selection, they didn't have some meat by time we were able to go up. Don't think I'd rush back unfortunately but the adjoining gin bar is decent

Noisy and understaffed. Room was ok, but rather hot. Would open the window but the adjacent docks are very noisy. Food was nice, but took ages with the one girl working the bar, taking orders, bringing food and clearing tables. She could have used another worker. A nice looking hotel in a really odd location!
