Its a lovely hotel, not massive but really friendly with a great set of staff. Room was spacious and comfy, though the sound of the kitchen fans just outside window woke our hungover selves up with a jolt at 6am. Breakfast was really good and the beer garden was lovely. Lots of parking, it was a great place.

The wortley house hotel was very good at hosting my mums wedding, the food was very very good!! And the service was amazing too, so quick and making sure we where okay throughout the whole night and was quick at changing the room around for the night do :)

Friendly staff good food, but the building itself is really due for a drastic renovation and modernisation. Humidity, loose carpet in hallways stairs and rooms, and the humid smell really brings its level down. Also furniture and lightning in bar is better in some factory canteens I've been.

Great place for events and evening parties. Many rooms with bars. Hosting charity events. And Sunday carvery. Very friendly staff.
