Came to the restaurant after a tough couple of days and was cheered up by the most friendliest staff I think I've ever met. First of all the lovely man who took my order was so friendly it cheered me up. Then sat on my own waiting for my food to be delivered Lewis the waiter came over and started to chat and even helped me with the crossword I was doing. It may sound like nothing but to someone dining on their own it is so lovely. The food was lovely and the atmosphere ,with a open fire was very homely. So glad I bought a caravan on 7 Lakes Country Park. Thank you lewis and the man behind the bar
Waited for an hour and half for food....watched the young girl serving the food touch her nose and mouth over and over then touch the food being prepared on every plate with no gloves....the girl working front of house loosened her shoe and scratched her foot through her tights then continued to take plates of food to a table. The girl behind the bar had a skirt so short that I actually saw the crack of her a*se, I mentioned this to the guy that seemed to be in charge and he said "she doesn't care"...sorry, but myself and my 13 year old daughter did care. We waited so long for our main course that we actually had to leave and got a refund. I work in a restaurant myself and this experience was absolutely shocking!!! Just wanted a nice meal for myself and my daughter but it was an absolute joke!! this place has so much potential its such a shame to see it like this Only given one star because I had to...I wouldn't have given any
Had a walk round the lakes today although it's winter it's still a pleasant walk round all the lakes followed by lunch in the restaurant on site will definitely visit again when the weather is a little warmer!!
Nothing that great food wise in the on site restaurant if I am honest! I don't know why I expect better but I simply hate the frozen bag offerings, from cremated oven chips the the leather beef and the starters of rubber catering special non edible Onion Rings. But after saying all that, the atmosphere around the place was lovely the vue watching the jetski's and water skiing and the ice cream parlor made up the 3 stars
Absolutely disgusting experience!! Been plenty of time and got I’d at the bar. They brought my 2 year old daughter her food in front of her face and then took it away to remove us from the premises. My poor little baby wanted her dinner and the disgusting waitress snatched it from her. Could say a lot more but I can’t swear. Disgusting from them all from the manager aslo
Great in the summer, lovely views of the lake. Kids play area is perfect whilst you're enjoying a coffee or cheeky tipple.
First time visiting. Lovely relaxing place. Menu not bad and neither are the prices Desserts a little expensive
Food looked great but was drenched with oil especially the fish n chips. The halloumi sticks and prawns were bland.
We stayed here 5th of July for 2 nights. The caravan we stayed in was really nice. The site was highly maintained and a pleasure to walk round. They have a on site bar and restaurant. We paid £3.50 for a pint of carling which was around average price. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing. I had the sirloin and was cooked to perfection. That cost £14.50 which was great value for money. Everything we had was top notch. There is loads of seating inside and out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was quiet during the day but was busier in evening. I was told it gets a lot busier when kids are off school. For us there wasn't a lot to do. It's ideal if you into fishing. Walking or sitting in the bar all day. But there are amazing views. Would highly recommend if you have kids.
Nice clean eating area with open kitchen reasonably priced meals also ice cream parlour perfect for walking with or without your dog
