The lack of staffing made check outs very slow, the staff were doing their best but the number of customers waiting was too great. Great shops can usually get what you need.
Found all I need in a nice fairly tidy store. Staff all very helpful. Polité and well mannered.
Large range store which includes a little Iceland in it now which is random. There is a variety of things in here. Plenty of parking outside. There was long queue when I was here which took a while to go down which isn’t useful if you’re in a hurry. Had exactly what I needed. Some items are good value some are overpriced.
16.03.24 just been into the range and we had excellent customer service help with a freestanding mirrored jewellery cabinet . From all staff - the guy bringing it to the car on a flat trolley and staff at till polite and cheery and especially a guy called Tony I'm assuming is the store manager or the deputy . Tony was extremely welcoming & friendly and helpful . We had the shop display one as it was the only one left. The shop was very busy and lots of staff too all working hard yet all smiling and helpful. Well done to Tony for a fantastic shopping experience there and all your help. First visit in many years as we don't live local now but will definitely be back. Well done staff at the range in shirley !
The Range store which includes an Iceland and garden centre in it. Really helpful and caring staff. They have click and collect. There is a variety of stuff: gardening BBQ tools paints CRAFTS Storage painting DECORATION stationery household Curtains small appliances such as toasters etc etc plenty of parking outside with 2 hours limit.
Checked stock online b4 I attended store, went to store asked attendant where item is, she checked and confirmed on the shelf in children’s department, in children’s dept asked staff, nope, not on shelves, in warehouse out of reach till xmas , another 6 months. Seems to me like the software needs tweaking, would have saved me the diesel and effort, sure it’s not me that has had this issue , and sure I won’t be the last.
It’s very difficult walking down the aisle with another shopper coming through. Trust me you will crash. A lot of unhelpful very young people working on the tills with the “computers says no” attitude. Not helpful at all. The tills you put your purchase on are bad enough. Terrible place with even worse staff
Smaller than other The Range shops but has everything you need, plus great gardening section. It is accessible for wheelchair users and staff is always pleasant. It has a small Iceland section too.
For such a small area it has a great range of foods. Dare i say better quantity of what we needed compared to Big Brother at West Quay.
Lots of handy bits and pieces but NEVER enough staff on tills
