A great place to get all sorts. Not all products are there all the time so can be pot luck. We have used this place for many years and is great for stocking fillers. They have vastly improved on the displays which is nice. Well worth a visit.
Went here on a whim, is very dated inside and has a strong musty smell; definitely not brought up with the times. When walking in there was loads of flies above the door which is a bit of a off putter, also shelves seems empty and is very much of a jumble sale some items I’ve not seen in over 15 years, and they where even manafuctured that long ago going by the boxes. Staff where pleasant enough, but I would recommended B&M more so if you want a bargain. Is a shame as this seems like it would be a great family business if brought up to what would would now be classed as a basic standard.
This is a cross between a cash and carry and what feels like a pound shop. Some bargains to be found but other things still seem quite pricey. Wide variety of products though and great place to stock up if you are holding a party.
Came in this afternoon with a friend and whilst we were there my friend went into a diabetic hypo! Can not fault the staff at how helpful they were to my friend, rushing to get her sugary biscuits and drinks and getting a chair for her to sit down whilst the hypo passed and all the time continually chatting to her to check she was OK... Amazingly helpful and knowledgeable on what help she needed. Thank You so much again for your help
Being going to Veals for many many years now. Worth a visit but don't forget to add VAT to your purchases. Could do with changing the stock more often as it always seems to be the same things for sale. Easy and plentiful parking.
I first started using veals many years ago when I got engaged to help fill my bottom drawer, an old fashion thing I know and I have carried on using it ever since. Loads of great little gems to tempt you form gift's all year round to just a great place for retail therapy
Loads of cheap wholesale stock, BB dates are usually expired and the toys usually break in 5 mins, but the place is cheap. Ample parking And there's a customer toilet by the entrance.
Love this place so much. Sad they are closing/retiring. 60+ years over their different locations. Thanks for the bargains! Have a happy retirement and may you find many bargains for yourselves!
A family run business that has a variety of goods. Always worth a look. Open to the public but once you have picked up your items vat is added at the till
I go here every other week as part of my shop. As you can sometimes find some bargains. Some of the staff seem a bit blunt with people but mostly nice.
