Firstly, the quality of their produce is excellent, even when it's past its sell by date, it is still fresh. You can usually get a good bargain in the reduced section. Unfortunately, the shop suffers from poor maintenence, is understaffed and doesn't have the full range of items which is very frustrating. They seem to spend more money on the outside of the building than the important stuff like working freezers. What staff there are, are always helpful.
Got all the groceries I was looking for and more. The staff was very helpful. Judy at the cafe was super nice and provided a great service. I had the Vegan Full English breakfast which was delicious and the £7 price made it even better.
10 years ago used to be my fave but sadly gone downhill since then. I don’t often get to shop here for that reason. I do like selection of seafood. Cooked deli food area has changed, it’s okay but used to have more selection of fresh roasted food. My last visit was absolutely diabolical, having spent just over £125 went into basket/trolley self-checkout area. Big mistake! Was told to place some of the scanned items on the floor and “carry on scanning the rest” on my trolley. Felt like I was there doing a shift! Not to mention with two children it was a nightmare. Morrisons still don’t have self scanning, so you can scan and go. Disappointed!
I have been going to morrisons in Totton for a year now since moving to the are. What is going on in the store? Shelves are half empty on most visits, fridge freezers leaking in several isles and go in store 2 days in a row and not a single paper or plastic bag in site. Customers are forced to buy more expensive bags for life. Please sort out the stocking issue, both food and bags. I have never been to a store which has consistently got worse over time and repeatedly low on stock most days in the week.
Visited just before 8am to purchase fresh bread and ham, the deli staff member informed me that the deli counter was not open so I couldn't have anything, surely if the store is open the counters should be set up or nearly and staff need to serve customers, also the instore bakery had no fresh bread or rolls on the shelves. The store has gone down hill there doesn't seem to have many staff and the staff that are there seemed to be overworked or can't be bothered.
It is a Morrisons supermarket. It has a bunch of food along with household stuff like washing liquid and toilet roll. I wonder what sort of person looks up reviews of supermarkets. I mean what do you expect. It’s a supermarket. It has a car park outside, big door and lots of stuff to buy inside. There was a nice lady called Sindy on the checkout who was very pleasant. We had a nice chat while she scanned all of the things that we wanted. We paid by card but I am fairly sure that they take cash as well. Now seriously who the hell is still reading this review. You have internet access and are wasting your life reading about supermarkets on Google Maps. I am trying to think what else you would want to know. We ate the food we bought here and it was very nice. The service was good and they had a big selection of apples. Why are you still reading this? I mean come on! Have you seen YouTube? It has videos of cats falling over and stuff. If I were you I would just go to this supermarket, buy some crisps they have a big selection then sit in the car park watching YouTube videos of people falling over on ice. If you like reading reviews of supermarkets you’re going to love that!
Great visit, very friendly staff. Nice cafe, good offers to be had.
A bit out of town for people in Southampton. I went in there for fish but was a bit disappointed as there weren't as many as I have seen in other Morrisons especially like the one in Witham Essex. But a great place to shop for groceries and everyday essentials.
Quality of Vegetables were very poor today & no cos lettuce. The cauliflower & white cabbage were literally only fit for the bin. So needed to go elsewhere.
The people who work there and have done for many years make this place, as for management you never see any and for some reason just keep coming and going apparently. They have replaced hafe the staff operated tills with self service tills, I have observed this frustrates the older generation. I have heard many elderly people say they need to sit down as at times the queues are very long. Always check dates on fresh bread as many times I have picked up bread / rolls that have been out of date. Also I dont like the big screens down the isle when you look up you see your self a red box zooms in and frames your face, Its enought to put me off shopping there tbh.
