Not impressed with staff at Culverhouse Cross looking for new saucepan and asked if they could check if 1 in particular was in stock at Penarth Road to save a wasted journey. The abrupt response was if it's not on the shelf we don't have it & you need to go on the website. Then they had 2 serving from the customer service desk. 1 till stopped working so she transferred to the other and then that one stopped working. Shifting customers from pillar to post and only called for more till assistants once the queue was all the way down the aisle. As it happens I did use the website and ordered what I wanted for click & collect sane day. The visit to Penarth Road was very straight forward. Although Culverhouse is a bigger store I'm not sure I will be visiting again.
Value for money. Don't expect any quality customer service. Reps would rather sit around then help customers. Oh and, make sure you have a pound to use the trolly. Otherwise the cashier will be happy to sell you the range coin for 89p
Today, I went to get medicine. There was a short old lady with glasses. You have to wait 9 days for your medicine to be ready. I have to wait for 5 items for 9 days. Do you think this is a normal thing? Their behavior is really bad, they upset the customer and they want to get the medicine from another place. In my opinion, one of these should complain to the manager of the pharmacy. They really annoy the customer. I feel sorry for these employees
I was actually really surprised by the decoration array this year. Absolutely fabulous choices, I even ended up buying loads of individual £2 borbals as well as the sets. Great job guys, really helpful and polite staff too
Not been for a long time and don't think i be going again anytime soon. The place looked liked it could do with a good clean and a lot of the products looked cheap and nasty . Such a shame as used to be a nice shop .
Love this store. Its great for everything! We've recently used this for party deco and they have one of the best selections! Lots of friendly staff always happy to help. Don't forget they have an Icelands section so you can get your frozen foods under one roof.

Rubbish for a range, a third of the store is taken up by an Iceland, which is strange. But the rest of the store always looks like it's just been burgled. Sadly the staff customer service skills, beyond talking like a fake idiot, are non existent. But it's "the range" what do you expect really
Good prices, unfortunately they didn't have what I needed in stock. Always looks so untidy in there, but always fun looking around.
Sheree at the Newport Road, Cardiff branch was so helpful today. She was very patient and helped me find everything I needed to put together a Christmas table decoration. What a lovely lady. An asset to the store. Thank you Sheree.
