Went there for dinner today and it was absolutely heaving. Really long queues, ran out of trays, cakes had not been restocked. Que for paying was getting stuck with people trying to get to fridge cabinet which is set too close to the till. Lady who served me was nice and helpful unlike staff the last time I visited Newport store. Went to table only to observe a young girl who was not bothering to clear tables and was stood at cleaning station for ages cleaning same tray over and over and going as slowly as possible. Looking at the cleaning station I could see why there were no trays. She has a large stack that she had not bothered to put back. The floor at the cleaning station was filthy. Even though it was insanely busy, the food was done quickly and well. Those silly shaped bowls for the katsu  chicken need to go though. They are horrible to eat from as them make it difficult.

Very nice restaurant with a huge window/balcony facing Queen Street. We tried turkey pie and Thai curry and they were delicious. Coffee and walnut cake with clotted cream very good. Prices are not too high. Relaxed atmosphere.

Went for lunch m & s cafe not great selection, but went for the all day breakfast was a great picture... absolutely appallingly, and well below expectation, bacon, toast was so dry, 2 eggs that were so small. what an expensive mistake, I won't make again.

a nice m&s store with a great restaurant with large glass window seating looking over the high street. We had the afternoon tea for 2 which had 4 various sandwiches each, a scone with pot of jam each. And clotted cream , a macaroni each, as small cup cake each , a small strawberry tart each and a pot of tea each. All for £15.99. The store is quite a large. Store nicely set out.

Poor customer service staff are treated like dirt not a nice place to work or shop staff never smile rob the food manager is short and disrespectful to customers and staff making the staff unhappy whist in work and not a very pleasant shopping experience
