John Lewis Cardiff

You can find every thing under one roof in John Lewis friendly staff and a rather large store. All the amenities you need to get you through the day baby change breastfeeding welcome and cafe is nice too. Weather your clicking and collecting or a look around this place has a great atmosphere.

I went to Cardiff store today to buy a pen as a leaving gift for a work colleague. I received the usual high standard of service from the sales assistant whilst buying the pen and asked if it could be gift wrapped so was pointed in the direction of customer services. There was no assistant at the gift wrapping counter but someone appeared and asked if they could help; I asked to have the pen wrapped and was told I would have to wait 30 minutes before someone could help. I asked why so long to wrap such a small item and was told people had phoned in sick and all the other people sitting at the desks around were doing compliance checks. I had to leave the store as I needed to return to work. The very poor service from "the customer service" staff spoiled the buying experience - my 20 year old son who buys everything on the net and was with me commented "and this is the good service you told me about! you have driven into the city centre, paid to park and can't get your gift wrapped, you should have bought it on the net!!" I would expect better than this from John Lewis. Why was everybody doing the compliance test at the same time or was it just a case of couldn't be bothered so fobbed me off with a long wait ??

Excellent choice and prices for quality merchandise, they sell everything from clothes, cookware, home wares, baggage, white goods, electricals, lighting, kids toys and clothes, pictures and so much more, with the customer service is by far the best around. The in store staff are very helpful.

Was helped by a guy called Julian with a vit bit. Really helpful, informative and not pushy. Really plesant and polite manner. Would happily recomend him to anyone neeeding help. 👍

Really good branch with a great range and very helpful staff. Nice cafe too for a break before going home!
