Story

Refurbished in 2011, the Ram Bar provides you with the ultimate stylish and comfortable surroundings to meet up, unwind, or get ready to go out.

Open from 10am every day, bringing you freshly prepared pub grub and friendly service, the Ram Bar is your social hub on campus. From regular quiz nights and Rameoke, to pre-Lemmy bar on Saturdays and Hair of the Dog Club on Sundays we have something for everyone. So come in, choose your table – inside or in our lively beer garden – and join us.

The University Bar, great for food, especially with an updated menu, and fairly inexpensive drinks. The "baskets" are great for quick meals, and service is fairly swift. It opens early, but only starts serving alcohol and main meals at 11.30. Food is served until 20.30, however you can continue drinking after that! Certain nights are dedicated, such as Rameoke or football matches, and the music that plays is controllable through the SubTV app, which can be clunky but does mean you have a say in the playlists.

Can get quite busy so finding a table is often a task in itself if you’ve come for food. Food prices are reasonable, however some of the bottled drinks seem a bit on the expensive side. Often used for quizzes, societies and streaming sports so provides a lot of entertainment value.

Not the cheapest considering it's a student place. Drinks were decent enough, service was quick, very busy.

Good university bar, food is a decent price and tastes good but can take a while to come. Quiz nights on Mondays are also a laugh but it can get very busy during peak hours.

Service was slightly slow and the orders did not come simultaneously, however, this was during the lunch period. Food was good.
