Wonderful traditional English pub right next to posh Primrose Hill. As you would expect quality pub themed main dishes at around £15 per plate. Reasonable bottle wine prices. I loved everything about it. Great mojo, food and exceptional service.
Great place to enjoy drinks and some delicious food. The interior is really well kept and offers a great relaxing atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and prices are average if you are a local. I had a cider while being there with some friends after our Primrose hill visit. Great spot to unwind.
Excellent beer. The best truffle Parmesan fries ever, Must try those. And the mushrooms in cream sauce were pretty good too! Great seating outside, with heaters too. Just around the corner from primrose hill.
I ADORE this pub! The space is quaint but stylish and the bar staff is very friendly. In a great location next to Primrose hill so you can see the city, go for a walk, then grab a cozy pint 28/2 Update: we came for Sunday roast recently and it was a wonderful meal! The cheesy cauliflower was delicious!
#thequeens #primrosehill What a place what a location, as you face the pub the park is on your left and the main shopping area and other restaurants are on the right, this place in the summer is so lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by, the inside is modern but homely and the staff are amazing. The manager Is friendly and knowledgable and makes you feel welcome. They have wide range of drinks of course and they have teal Coca Cola and not generic Cola sold in a glass bottle. Today I popped in and had the best visit ever. The chef was taste tasting some new dishes and I just happened to pop in at the right time. Honestly they were delicious, I missed out on the superfood salad because the manager stuffed it down so quickly I didn’t get a chance to photograph or taste it so I can’t give a review about that “sorry” it looked amazing though. The dishes were Comfit Duck leg with dauphinois potatoes, orange braised chicory with red wine sauce “my mouth is watering now damn” it was delicious. The next dish was oven roasted Hake “fish” with roasted seasonal veg, served with lemon butter sauce, honestly this was to die for. Try and visit on one of the few last days of summer.
Nice cozy pub right by the hill. We came here after watching sunset and had espresso martinis by the fireplace and it was wonderful.
Hi, had a lush time at the Queens on Friday. We were visiting from Bristol for the day. As soon as we got there we were met with 2 friendly faces, really polite staff. I love that. The meals we had were lovely, every one in our party thought the same. I would definitely come back to the Queens. One day hope to come back and do a pub crawl in Primrose Hill and the Queens will be on the list. Thank you for making our day enjoyable. See you soon. Joanna Macaulay
Ordered the veg Sunday roast had no idea it was supposed to served cold...wish it was a hot meal.
Had a brilliant time when I came into this pub last week - amazing location, super friendly staff and perfect service. Wanted to say thank you specifically to Luca who really went above and beyond! What a great evening
We ate in the restaurant upstairs. We had the chicken schnitzel with parmesan shavings and mash which was very good - and I'm not a schnitzel fan. Service in the restaurant was unobtrusive but friendly and quick whenever we needed it, and the bar staff were also friendly. The only negative was our table, right next to some stairs leading to a staff room. But I would certainly go there for a drink or meal again.
