Came in for Sunday lunch, had a Mixed Grill, superb as usual! Two lovely ales and as always such great value, cheers!

I was happy to find that wetherspoon on My last visit in that area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and you can get a pint for a real bargain. I've tried the food 60oz cheese burger and the brownie with ice , too and no complains about it.
Nice pub with interesting history. Some very cheap beers or ciders £1.79 a pint in Jan 2023? Food is pretty reasonable as well. What's not to like?

Not what I’d call your normal Wetherspoons , a nice friendly establishment offering everything Wetherspoons .. A great selection of real ale , eight in total
Great place for breakfast, coffee, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks, party, catch up with friends you name it! Reasonably priced food and drinks. Very spacious outdoor garden seating area. Always lovely service from staff. Highly recommend
The food is great but a few times my pint ordered on the app has been late on one occasion 20 minutes. One of the staff is very rude. One day it was getting really dark outside and in the beer garden it was totally dark. There was around 7 customers outside drinking and smoking. My belongings were on the table as well as my beer so I decided to call the pub on my phone to explain there were people outside in the dark can someone turn the lights on. The woman you can't miss her as she is very large was rude on the phone telling me to come to the bar. Whether I come to the bar or phone makes no difference. One of the staff came out to turn on the lights.followed by the large member of Staff and at the top of her voice says what weird phoned me. Her customer service skills are appalling. Your ment to take care of customers needs not make sly comments at them.
