About as close a you get to access to Buckingham Palace. A beautifully designed access point for the public. Great gift shop. Cool , calm , mesmerizing , had wonderful visit with lovely people . outstanding paintings so lively , statue and the environment inside was so joyous . Got lots of information about king and queen. Got lovely photography outside . Inside we are not allowed to take pictures . everything was in well maintained with lovely staffs . Got such a beautiful opportunity to visit . Happy me
Beautiful arrangements of royal photos dating back to the turn of the century. Not allowed to photograph inside. But a beautiful gallery nonetheless. Free cloakroom. Well appointed bathrooms. Beautiful small galleries in back rooms of the Palace, with selective exhibitions from HM collection with highly informative placards; also a live artist in a separate room. . No queues and uncrowded, out of season. Good free audio and large print guides, and multilingual guidebooks. Some facilities for drawing, sitting and study. Good shop. Superb standard of decor and service, as one might expect, spotless free cloakrooms and loos .
This place is ok if you like royal history through images . You will find a good selection of photos of the royal family from the last century. The King's Gallery is 99% photos . Absolutely enjoyed and loved my visit to The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, on Monday, 27th of May 2024. Saw the Royal Portraits exhibition and I was blown away by the quality of photos taken of the British Royal Family throughout a century. Visited the Royal Portraits photography exhibition. Brilliant experience as always! Staff are simply amazing. Welcoming and friendly! Everything is immaculate! Make sure you get your ticket stamped as it allows you free entry within the year, hence we didn't have to pay for this exhibition.
